Netlify Pro is $20 a month for 3,000 credits, unlimited members, 3 concurrent builds and 7-day observability. What it lifts, and what it does not.

Verified answer checked

Netlify Pro costs $20 a month and includes 3,000 usage credits, unlimited team members, 3 concurrent builds, private organization repositories, shared environment variables, 30-day analytics and 7-day observability. The limit that forces most upgrades is the seat: Free and Personal are individual plans with 1 member, and Pro is the first Team tier.

  • Netlify Pro costs $20 a month and includes 3,000 usage credits, which works out to $0.00667 per credit (checked 2026-10-25).
  • Pro is the first plan with unlimited members, while Free and Personal are individual plans limited to 1 member (checked 2026-10-25).
  • Pro credits come in tiers of 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 per month, with extra credits sold at $10 per 1,500 (checked 2026-10-25).
  • Pro raises concurrent builds from 1 to 3, and every additional concurrent build after that costs $40 (checked 2026-10-25).
  • Pro adds 7-day observability and 30 builds retained, against 1 day of observability and 5 builds on Free (checked 2026-10-25).
  • 3,000 credits is 10 times the Free allowance and covers about 150 GB of bandwidth, 60 production deploys or 300 GB-hours of compute (calculated 2026-10-25).

Netlify Pro is $20 a month for 3,000 usage credits and, more importantly, for the right to add a second person to the account. The plan sits between Personal at $9, which is still an individual plan with 1 member, and Enterprise at custom pricing. Pro itself has not become complicated: unlimited members, 3 concurrent builds, private organization repositories, shared environment variables, 30-day analytics and 7-day observability, all on the same credit meter that runs the Free tier. What surprises people is which of those lines is the one they actually needed.

Personal at $9 sits in the same table with 1,000 credits, 1 member, smart secret detection, 1-day observability and priority email support. It is a credit top-up with better logs, not a team plan, and the page labels its audience "Individual" the same way it labels Free.

What the $20 actually means

The seat count is the limit that forces this upgrade. Deploy permissions are tied to account membership, and Free and Personal both cap membership at 1, so the moment a second developer needs to push to production the choices are Pro or sharing a login. At $20 for unlimited members, the marginal cost of the fifth developer is zero, which is why the price discussion usually ends quickly once a team is involved.

Credits alone rarely justify Pro. Personal's 1,000 credits already covers 50 GB of bandwidth or 66 deploys, and a site that fits inside 1,000 credits has no reason to pay for 3,000. Where the credit tiers matter is at the top end: 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 credits a month are published as steps, so a heavy month lands on a bigger tier rather than on a per-unit overage bill.

The extra concurrent build is worth pricing separately. Pro includes 3 and charges $40 for each additional slot, so a monorepo that wants 6 parallel builds pays $20 for the plan plus $120 for slots. That is a fixed monthly fee per slot, not a usage charge, and it is the most expensive thing on the Pro line for anyone with many small apps.

How we measured it

The plan table and the credit-cost table were fetched on 2026-10-25 from netlify.com/pricing and from the plain markdown version of the same page at netlify.com/pricing.md. Nothing was benchmarked and no account was upgraded; every figure is copied from those two pages, and every number that involved division — credits into gigabytes, dollars into credits — is labelled as calculated.

What changes in practice

Pro is a Team plan, so the things that change are mostly collaborative. Private organization repositories mean a private GitHub org can deploy without a public mirror, shared environment variables mean secrets stop being copy-pasted per site, and 30-day analytics mean a monthly review does not depend on someone exporting CSVs on the first of the month.

The credit behaviour does not change at all. Pro still has a hard monthly cap on each tier, and hitting it still pauses the whole account rather than silently billing an overage, so the tier you pick is a budget you have to size correctly. The difference from Free is only that the pause is further away and the notices arrive earlier.

Observability is the underrated line. Going from no window on Free to 7 days on Pro is what makes a production incident diagnosable after the weekend, and it is the reason some single-person projects buy Pro even though they never add a member.

Bottom line

Buy Pro at $20 when a second person needs deploy rights or when 1,000 credits is not enough — both are seat and volume problems that Personal cannot solve at any price. If neither applies, Personal at $9 with 1,000 credits is the cheaper answer, and $0.009 per credit versus Pro's $0.00667 only matters once monthly spend passes the Personal ceiling (calculated 2026-10-25).

Frequently asked questions

Does Netlify Pro charge per seat?

No. Pro is $20 a month with unlimited members, and the credit-based Pro plan no longer bills per seat. The remaining per-slot charge is $40 for each concurrent build beyond the 3 included.

What does an extra $11 a month buy over Personal?

$11 a month is the gap between Personal at $9 and Pro at $20, and it buys unlimited members, 2 more concurrent builds, private organization repositories, shared environment variables, 30-day analytics and 7-day instead of 1-day observability (calculated 2026-10-25).

How much bandwidth does Netlify Pro include?

About 150 GB a month, because 3,000 credits divide by 20 credits per GB (calculated 2026-10-25). The same 3,000 credits also covers about 60 production deploys at 15 credits each.

Can a Netlify Pro account go above 20,000 credits?

20,000 credits a month is the top published Pro tier, and beyond it the page lists Enterprise at custom pricing with unlimited credits, a 99.99 percent SLA and SSO. Extra Pro credits are an add-on at $10 per 1,500, with auto-recharge off by default.
